The < 1999 T5 is a little less fussy, red DI's a little less prone to failure, than the new black T7, along with a less finicky throttle body.
The T5 also less prone to PCV (& sludge) problems.
But spare DIC or replace original prudent.
Head gasket leaks due to improper bolt torque at factory was an issue, 120K might be past that problem by now.
Idler pulley needs 60K R&R.
HVAC must be trouble free, if ACC it's just like your 9-5 (9-3 less troublesome that 9-5 in that area).
It's all about the maintenance, oil change interval, use of synthetic (factory fill was blend), coolant flushes etc.
Check trunk for dampness / rust as these can be leaky.
Lots of stuff due to wear out but if well cared for, a good car to get another 100K out of.
Single owner - could be a gem.
