Well, I convinced the shop to try turning them. Sure enough one side was badly warped. All is fine now though. Since I've owned the car (w/ stock rotors) there has been some vibration in the wheel ... both while just driving and much worse while braking. Then, with brand new cross drilled rotors ... the same thing.
Now, with my turned cross drilled rotors, the car rides vibration free and brakes the same.
Turn them rotors. If you don't have a gauge, how can you be sure they're not warped?
