Anytime I experience rough idling the first thing I check is that everything is well with the vacuum hoses and controls. If all seems well with hoses, then I start checking fuel delivery.

Recently, I had a cold start and rough idle problem with my car. I check all vacuum hoses (silicone and recently install) but missed a leak on the hose from the Turbo-Bypass-Valve. Replaced my fuel filter and experienced minor improvement. Upon second inspection, I found the leak. But in addition, found another leak / crack in one of the hoses coming from the Boost-Pressure-Control-Valve while installing an SMBC. With these two leaks found and resolved, rough idling and cold start issue have disappeared. Car purrs!!

So I recommend you become familiar with all vacuum hoses; check for degredation, and if hoses feel dry and brittle, replace all. You will gain some peace of mind. It that doesn't solve your problem, then check fuel pressure. Though, your SID issue sounds like there may be electric issue to resolve, also.
