No doubt I had a 8 valve go to 300, engine was fine...body was great and I got rid of it instead of replacing the transmission, but after my indy said $3000 to fix transmission and all the other stuff that should be fixed since the engine/trans was out and it would still be a $1500 car when I was finished...I should have fixed it anyway. BTW I have a 1989 with nearly 300k...This 2001 car is just a mess...service intervals all done and here I am at 100k and it went from bad to worse...needs radiator, transmission flush too because of water in trans. and hopefully there was no damage, but who knows. Me eventually
