Okay, so I really like looking at new cars, but I'm at a crossroads here.
I currently have a 2000 9-3 that I love, but getting worried its going to have a lot of replacement parts needed soon, as I have 140,000 miles on it, and its pretty much all original.
My dilema is, I'm neck deep in home renovations, thus don't think I can afford to spend a $1000 or 2 on repairs, so what are your thoughts on just upgrading a little bit, to maybe a 2002 9-3 with under 100k, or the coveted 2004 9-5 aero that I so desperatley want.

My thought on this is, I could finance the additional $5000 or so needed to buy up, where as I'm worried that I'm soon going to have to replace a lot of parts.

I've replaced my exhaust and the turbo, everything else is original....
so here's the list of parts I think I need to be concerned with:

clutch
brake calipers
water pump
fuel pump
suspension bits...pretty much all of 'em

probably more that I just can't think of now.

But anyway, my car is well cared for, but I know as much as anyone, certain pieces just don't last forever.

Any thoughts?
