Done it ones on a XK8 but had to replace all the chains and guides together with dropping the oil pan due to severe sludge problem.
It was for my good friend and neighbor so it only came up to $2200.00
About $4500.00 was the going rate at the Jag dealer.
It took me quite awhile to figure out and manufacture the special tools to hold the cams in place and also the counter hold tool for the VVT cam sprockets.
I was toying with the idea to get the parts from Ford (hoping to save some money)since it is Ford part numbers on the guides, chain and tensioner, but ended up using Jaguar parts.
