Hello Friends,
I am having trouble with my windshield washer fluid system in my 1995 Saab 900s.
I have done all of the usual cleaning procedures.

I used a guitar string to clean the nozzles. This worked great and gave great flexibility. It was a lot better than trying to use a pin.

Then using a small funnel I filled each portion of a hose line with a high % rubbing alcohol and used a portable air compressor to blast it out of the nozzles.
After several cycles, all of the washer nozzles were flowing great.
This step made a huge difference in the flow.
I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately for me, once everything was hooked back up, I still could not get any flow to fluid nozzles. I examined the accessible check and flow valves and they seem to be OK.
When I left the valves and connectors on the driver side of the engine compartment unattached and ran the pump there was no flow.

Does this mean my washer fluid pump is Bad?
It is still making its usual high winding noise it has always made
Are there ways to diagnose it?
Are there other valves that need to be checked out?

I sincerely appreciate any advice that may be given.

Winter is fast approaching here in PA and without washer fluid there will be no way for me to safely drive.
