First, thanks to Dip (previous post) for the link to the website. The information on there is awesome. So I have installed the new-to-me B204L in my 99 9-3. Used the old turbo. On startup I had an injector that was stuck open on #1 cylinder as well as a DI failure on same cylinder. Replaced both-no problem. Did pour lots of gas through the exhaust. Anyway, I started the car and got billowy white smoke out the exhaust. Figured it was unburned fuel in the pipes. Problem has not gone away-still getting smoke and I am worried it is coolant. Compression test is good. Getting a CEL (Havent checked code yet-suspect catalyst) will post code once I get it read. So the question is: I know that there are coolant lines attached to the turbo. Is it possible that the coolant is vaporizing on the exhaust side of the turbo somehow? Oil looks good and I cannot detect any in the exhaust. Ideas would be helpful-this car has been off the road for eight months!!
