The resistance should be about 860 Ohm +-90 at room temp between pin 1 and 2 so it sounds about right with 915.
Keep in mind that checking resistance on a failing CKP sensor at room temperature is just about worse less.
So if you send it in, they won't be able to find anything wrong with it anyway, if they don't want to find it.
Since the dealer didn't want to find the problem, nor will Saab.
What you can do for your own satisfaction is to mount the sensor loosely in a vice, hook up your Ohm meter to pin 1 and 2 and then slowly and carefully heat up the sensor with either a paint removal gun or a propane torch and check the resistance at the same time.
If the resistance slowly start to creep upwards and then maybe even go to open circuit, you have established that it is bad. When you remove the heat source you will notice that after awhile, it is back down to around 900 Ohm.
