The 900's from 1996 are much better.
In 94 and 95 there are some things to consider.
94's can be a nightmare (pressed to early to the market by GM, Saab wanted to wait one year more to get things better.)
- Front springs are weak.
- Replace lower door rubber at the chassis side with new ones to stop galvanic currents
- Doors and tailgate are likely to have much corrosion in lower parts, even if the rubber has benn replaced early. Take a close look and press with a the little screwdriver.
- The ignition distributor is one part (!, expensive and will likely leak much oil from 150.000 km.
- Replace the gear oil as soon as you eventually buy the car, especially if the car is to be used in cold winter. The gearbox will sound and feel mush fresher.
With lots of repairs already done it can be a nice car, though!
