Oil Leak - '99 with auto trans

I noticed an engine oil leak that I don't understand coming from somewhere between the engine and the auto trans. Seems like just above the trans. drain plug, and above the catalytic converter on the drive side of the Cat. Does anyone know what this leak is? Can I just leave it and watch my oil level? It leaves a few drops every time I park.
Thanks, Andrew
