Hello all,

Interesting day, i noticed a bit of squeaking coming from my car at idle as well as acceleration, it did get progressively worse during accel., which is a new sound as of today, unfortunately i did not think much about it because I've also had an issue with a loud ticking noise and its been quite wet out lately. As far as the tick, engine does not tick at idle, seems to consistently tick during any and all acceleration beyond 2000 RPM (it may tick at lowers as well, however i cannot hear it)and i cannot tell a definite source. My car also had two other old issues stick their ugly heads out today, my car has had issues in wet weather with sputtering, where my rpm's drop engine loses power, and although it does not stall it drags RPM's down idle goes from 1000 to 650[roughly]. Another issue is my check engine light which i used my trusty pocket OBDII and i received a code of P1115( i believe its coolant temp voltage high) i have already replaced the sensor, and the error went away for about 2 weeks came back on, i cleared it and then the light came back about another week later.I inspected my engine, added a half quart of oil to bring my level back up, and filled my windshield washer reservoir.

BIGGEST ISSUE

as i was driving over to my girlfriends house tonight everything was running fine until i heard the ding of death from my dash the "!" came up as well as the little battery light, i immediately shut off al non-essential accessories (radio, seat heaters, dimmed the lights, etc.) and used my arms for power steering as it had gone out. I finished the final 100 yards to her house and parked it, went ice skating came back about 3 hours later. When i inspected the engine it smelled i suppose of burning rubber, and the alternator belt was loose. I managed to drive it home, monitoring the temp sensor carefully and shutting the engine off downhill.

!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
