I did this awhile back on my 1994 900SE which I had for 150k or 12 years. I figured about 100.00 a month overall. The car was ready for original clutch replacement at 150k, needed a headliner, tires, front seat was falling apart and the AC system was on its last legs...I sold it to someone as a project car. If I had fixed all this stuff the number would have been much higher.
As these cars went on they became much more reliable, this is very evident with my 00 9-3Se now at 122k or 8 years and the cost of repairs is running at less than half that of my 1994 model at that point. And I rarely work on this car. My 94 SE took up every other Saturday with something.
It is clear that the 94-95 models were the worst of the lot. Something tells me you wont see 250k with your car...you will come to that decision point later than I, so good for you. Best of luck.
