I drilled out the hole a bit so I could get a finish nail into it. Made it much easier. The catch on mine is an integral part of the back and comes out with it. It is a j shaped affair that descends from the cover and loops back up, hook of the j away from the cover toward the outside of the case. The hook latches onto the lip that the cover rests on.
