so my wife experienced it first, driving 60 MPH the car 'lost power', 'i pressed the gas and nothing happened', she pulled over and called. I asked her if the radio said 'code in'. It did. It restarted and went on its way. This has happened also when trying to start a couple of times, ie it won't start and then the radio says 'code in'. Battery is good, alternator is good. I guess there is not direct connectivity from the battery to the radio ? Anyway I was hoping to get some guidance about where to look. I assume I should look at the power line supplied be the alternator ?? Obviously the battery keeps the radio from requiring a code, but that route goes via the alternator ? Thanks for any suggestiones.
