Brought it to two independent saab shops and 3 techs, after driving it around, hooking the tech 2 and so on and so forth said it was just the turbo resonating through the intake/exhaust and not to worry. And I just brought it to the second one last week. After 2 techs drove it around both said that car was in excellant shape and not to worry. So there we have it. Now is this to say that it is indeed just the sound of the turbo? I guess I will find out sooner then later in regards to weather my car keeps runnimng or craps out. It's been making this sound for almost 2 years, and it may have been making this sound even sooner but I never heard it. I do run the piss out of this car and it is holding up fine. And I tried to isolate the problem as well by disconnecting all sorts of pipes and such to see if it was the brake booster, diverter valve, pcv pipes, air filter, serpintine belt, new cat and god only knows what else.
So I'm done, but it still kind of worries me for some unknown reason.
