I've never stored my Viggen, but I do store a couple of '60s cars (summer toys) every winter. I typically remove the plugs and spray fogging oil into each cyl after I've shut the engine down, when I put the cars in storage. When I wake them up in Spring, I simply install the battery and crank 'em over. You didn't do the fogging oil last Fall, but still I think you can safely just start the car without any real hoopla.
My mother stores a modern car every winter. Does nothing... I don't even think she's remove the battery during storage. Every Spring, she just fires it up. No drama, no damage.
I'd recommend, 1) charge the battery, 2) install it, 3) turn on key and let fuel pump run a few seconds, 4) start it up, and 5) change your oil in the first week due to shelf life. No need to change filter if you changed it last Fall, but I would anyway... it's cheap. And here's a recommendation for next winter. Put on some Gislaved snows and enjoy the Viggen all year! I've been doing that for 5 yrs now.
