Agree. I always fill up at half a tank at the latest so that the tank is near full in the event of a disaster. The pump liking a more full tank is bonus. As my father put it when I first got a car, you can drive on the top half of your tank or the bottom half. Either way your driving on a half a tank. The cost didn't change and the one has a much bigger safety margin.
