Exhaust manifold toast?

The middle mounting point (where the bolt goes through) of my exhaust manifold has a speration of about an 1/8 of an inch. I can't tell if it's supposed to be that way, or if it has cracked. I searched pictures on ebay but couldn't find any clear shots of it. I will take a picture of it tomorrow and figure out how to post it.
I just bought this car, but it feels new, was driven lightly, and has only highway miles.
2001 9-3S 65K miles, 5sp, one owner before me, I got all the records which show that every single little service was performed at the dealer - oil changes every 4.5K miles, as well as 10, 20, 30. 40, 50, and 60k mile services. If something weren't right I would think the dealer techs would find it.
I have other questions to post later abaout turbo seals and pcv valve stuff.
TIA
