BPC/BPV - I think you are speaking of the recirculating bypass valve. That is easy to find. On your engine you will see the intake pipe of the left side of the engine bay and a narrow, approx 1 in. diameter tube, running parallel to the front bumper. The tube appatches to a black "gizmo" that connects to the long black plastic intake pipe, which leads to the throttle body. The "gizmo" is the BPV. you will be able to identify it also by a small black rubber tube that comes off the the end.
Wastegate - The wastegate in our cars are all internally waste gated meaning that it is attached to the turbo. I doubt this is the problem, but if you want to investigate it is below the heat shield in the front center of the engine bay.
OMHO you probably have a sensore out if your not getting any low end boost. The Trionic 7 on our cars, 2000 and newer, control everything. Of course all of us have had strange problems at one point or another. If you give us some more details of the problem maybe we can help.
