IMHO, if it is the German Castrol, you should be OK as it is truly closer to a 0W-40. I use Shell Rotella T 5W-40 synthetic (a Group III synthetic (or not a true synthetic to some)). There is some evidence that due to the construction of the SAAB oil pump, a xW-30 oil may not deliver adequate oil pressure at all times.
