900s low beam headlight failure

Another problem with our NG900 is that the headlights don’t work on low beam (high beam works when flashing). In addition, the inner two tail/break lights don’t work.
When wiggling the switch on the dash between park light on and headlight on and then holding it between the two positions, the low beams can come on temporarily. This indicates to me that the bulbs and fuses are OK but the switch could be dodgy.
None of the problems cause a warning message.
I’ve searched the BB for the common “orange relay” problems and they seem to be high beam problems rather than low beam. Perhaps my opposite problem is because the car is in the Southern Hemisphere :-)
I took the relay apart and it seems as thought the soldered joints are sound.
Again, any advice would be appreciated.
TIA
David
