I posted a little while ago about how the dealership scratched the Viggen rims, and all they wanted to do was finish the ones that were scratched, even though most had a bit of scratches. I said no, as we all know that the refinish is NEVER as good as the original, and will NEVER be as durable and will never match the others needless to say look as good. I've received a phone call from saab after my complaint letter has been received, and was on the phone informing them of this issue. I was trying to tell them how the refinish isn't a good fix for this problem, and they'd need to own up to their mistake and pay the high cost of replacing it, if that is necessary (which probably is). I didn't get much from them other than blah blah blah I shouldn't have accepted the vehicle if the scratches were there blah blah blah and how they'd have to contact the dealership. They said they'd call me back next week after they talk with them. What are my chances here? Is anyone ACTUALLY gonna own up and say, okay we'll replace them and be really careful that it doesn't happen again, or will they just offer a refinish and that is ALL...and if I do want anything else, I'd need to prove that the finish is only matching and the paint is only available AT the factory? A number of people have said the finish is not "EPA approved in the states". What about in Canada? How would I show this? I don't think I have time to go to court with these fools...

I don't know really what to do, these situations suck s**t. Anyways, your comments are much appreciated
