Replaced the inner bushing, clutch, LH axle, and both struts. I did not change the driver itself as I miked it and it was perfect. The new bushing tightened the spec up considerably. There should have at least been a change in the vibration even if the driver was bad, which it was not. Car has the exact same shimmy under power only. I am going to try another test and shut off the traction control. After that, I've ordered new tires and am going to have them carefully balanced and realign the vehicle. If that doesn't do it , which I suspect it won't, I'll do the right side axle. All who ride in the vehicle feel it's from the passenger side, but the axle was not sloppy. Only the left side driver was loose. So we are slowly eliminating the potential problems methodically. Note: The free floating left side driver is now 25% as loose as it was before. And my son-in-law said my daughter's '96 900 is looser than my old one and she has vibration at all. I also suspect it could be a loose suspension bushing that when under power toes the car out and causes scrub and vibration.
