A/C Probs related to sirius wired fm modulator relay?

I recently had a wired fm modulator relay installed for my sirius satellite radio (this morning actually) plug and play unit in my 2001 93 SE. Here is a link to DIY instructions, which I didn't bother with since Sirius sent me a gift card for a free professional installation. http://www.tss-radio.com/direct-adapter-wired-relay-pin-4082.html
10 miles after leaving the install shop, my a/c stopped blowing cold air. I fiddled with it while, and discovered that if I turned off the ACC completely for about a minute, it would blow cold air for about a minute once I turned it back on. I could hear the compressor turn on if I switched back and forth between econ and normal, but didn't hear it turn off when the cold air stopped blowing.
I can't think of any direct correlation between the direct adapter installation, and the a/c problem I'm currently having, but I'm suspicious. Does anyone with more mechanical/electrical know how think they could be related?
I've done a search of the board, and didn't see any other posts for this issue, but please forgive if this topic has been tackled elsewhere.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
