Fluctuating pressure on low side of A/C, warm A/C

Hello,
My A/C was professionally evacuated and recharged last summer and seemed to work as well as a SAAB A/C can.
But this summer my A/C wasn't working and according to the SAAB WIS my 4 wired pressure monitor was to read 1 ohm or less (between pins 1 & 2) with 2 bar (30 psi), but never budged from 1 ohm. I must have had a faulty recharge pressure gauge because when I removed the 4 wired pressure monitor to check for obstructions or leaking o-ring, no pressure was lost.
I bought a different recharge can with gauge and charged the system to 33 psi and had cool air from the vents a few days ago, but now I'm just getting ambient temp thru the vents.
I've recalibrated the ACC module, have a lot of bubbles rushing thru the sight glass and the charge pressure fluctuates between 30 psi (compressor running, no fan running) and 45 psi (compressor and fan running). Also the needle on the gauge is never steady.
I was wondering if the system needs to be evacuated and recharged professionally, if I should buy a new 4 wire pressure monitor and/or change out the dryer (which I have openly stored - not sealed- in my basement from my previous 1995 SAAB 900S) before bringing it in to get the A/C serviced.
Or is there a way to Do It Myself?
Thanks in advance,
George M.
