I see all sorts of different specs...I want to know for sure, which is the one I should go about. Some say to go 60Nm (44ft/lbf) and then torque an extra 90 deg (GS site), Swedecar says to go 40 then 60 then 90 deg. I'm afraid to do the latter as I think (think ...) that if I torque them ALL to 40, i might risking loosening the head too much. I think this might be the spec for when you install a NEW headgasquet, so if I replace them I should go with the first one? (60Nm, then 90deg) I'm going to be doing this soon soon soon, so thanks for any help :D!
