Depends on where they are sourcing the starter from. Part Number 93184928 for 01-02/3 Starter Lists at $315.00 from Saab. If they are getting it directly from Saab, they may be giving it to you at cost. A lot of shops do not source from regular consumer accessible parts venders such as Eeuro. There are many others such as RAMAC, IMC Parts, WorldPac etc. These are the big buys in the parts distribution, and they deal with many many makes for oem parts and aftermarket parts as well.

Depending on the shop rate per hour, $180 is on the higher end I would say.

When it comes down to it, they also have diagnostic time and overhead costs to pay for as well. $460 does not sound outrageous.
