My mom's 1996 900s auto has recently started slipping in reverse only. It is an automatic yet it feels like a slipping clutch. Is there something that a diy can do for it? It started right after she had the balance chain, timing chain, and a/c compressor replaced. Did the engine/trans need to be pulled when that work was done? Could the Saab indi mechanic have done something wrong, or is it just a coincidence on a 187,000 mile car?
Thank for your help, this car needs to last another 2 years at least.
