On my way home from work last night I started hearing a noise from underneath my '99 convertible. It sounded like something dragging underneath. It was not constant and I could not seem to pinpoint if it got worse when I turned or went over larger bumps. I got home expecting to see the exhaust system hanging low...or something that would have been dragging on the ground, but everthing was normal. Took a 10 minute test drive after dinner and still no noise. Started on my way to work this morning and 25 minutes into the trip it started again. Put the car in the air, climbed under and cannot find anyting wrong.
Any ideas?
Car has 117k miles and is a 5sp.
