Having trouble removing axle from hub

Hi Everyone,
I am attempting to replace the lower control arms, tie-rod ends, struts (mounts and bearings, too) and springs on my wife's '99 9-3. It is an automatic base model 5 dr. The left side has come apart with no problem (other than my ginormous pipe wrench being at another address at the moment), but I am having a bear of a time getting the axle out of the hub on the right side. I have destroyed my 3 lbs. dead blow hammer, and have soaked the axle end in the hub with PB blaster several times a day for the past 4 days. I have tried to loosen the hub's nasty grip with an air chisel equipped with a punch bit, but have had no luck so far with that. I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions that may help.
I also noticed some grease leaking from under the edge of the inner boot, so I may take the axle out to replace the boot anyway. I figure if I do that I can just take the whole strut assembly and axle somewhere to have the axle pressed out. Any thoughts on doing this (or about the leaking grease) may be helpful as well.
Thanks in advance for your comments/suggestions.
Erik
