Motive Brake Bleeder !

I'm about to replace my rear calipers and bought a Motive bleeder to facilitate the job. My plan is to run fluid thru the old caliper before taking it off so as to minimize the chance of contaminating the new caliper with old fluid. The directions on my Motive are blurred other than the 10# test part so my question is What pressure is OK to use during the process ?? I see Anders has suggested removing as much old fuild from the MC as possible before starting the task which makes total sense and then only filling it halfway before hooking up the bleeder so it doesn't overflow when removing it at the end of the job. Any hints/tips/criticism will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, Craig
PS: The car is an '01 9.3 which has never had the brakes bled before.
