Couldn't be much simpler--I just did this last week on my '99 93 with 135M miles in hopes of improving gas milage. Can't say for sure yet but it seems to have added 2-3 mpg. Make sure the engine is cool. I first sprayed some PB Blaster on it, waited 10 minutes and then took a 7/8" wrench to it. There's not a lot of room but you can do it. When you install the new sensor make sure you put some anti-seize on the threads. If you bought the Bosch unit it should come with some on it already. The other end of the wires plug into a mating fitting which you open and separate by sliding out the red part. Use a small screwdriver to pry it open but be careful. The plastic gets brittle with age.
