Ok, so long SAAB story short I recently got my 99 9-3 stolen and the thief got both the plastic key with the transponder chip in it and my skeleton key which never started the car but would unlock the doors/aac etc. I found my car a month later parked with the alarm armed and ended up towing it back to my house... ironically the same day I picked up an 88 SPG. Uh so after some searching and phone calls and detective work I somehow got most of the things gone from the car back, including the spare skeleton key.
I thought I was going to have to get a T.W.I.C.E anti-theft module and keys for like $600 or so dollars (fly by night place) but now I'm wondering what I can do with the key I got back... Can a chip be programed to work with my T.W.I.C.E somehow or am I really still out a bunch of $? I think only two keys have been made for my T.W.I.C.E and I've heard it can recognize up to 3 then you need a new one. Anyways I just need advice on this huge problem.
-Cheers!
