Hello,
I've searched, but can't find anything that seems to fit, so I thought I put my own post up. Here is the situation: '01 9-3 convertible and about two weeks ago the passenger side headlight became dim, but was not causing a headlight failure message on the dash. About a week ago, it went completely black and the headlight failure message did come on. It seemed like I was going through headlight too frequently, so a few months back I got a new "orange box" relay from eeuroparts and put it in. Now tonight, I finally had the time to install a new part of headlights and the same passenger side light is back to dim. I swapped the "orange box" from the '01 with our other Saab ('97 - working fine, also with a new "orange box") and the problem stayed with the '01 while the '97 continued to work fine, so I know it is not the "orange box." The bulbs are brand new, so it 'should' not be that either. Any other ideas?? I'll swap the actual bulbs tomorrow to see if it follows the bulb or the passenger side light (typing from bed, already waaaay past my bedtime!!)
Thanks for any thoughts/advice.
Nick
