Theoretically you could purchase a turbocharger, exhaust manifold, downpipe, intercooler and related pipes/hoses, intake bend, air cleaner and related hoses, plus all the oil/coolant plumbing needed to connect the turbocharger to your engine by searching salvage yards or the parts bulletin board. Then you would need to purchase, or make a manual boost controller, because it would be next to impossible to integrate the stock APC system into your vehicle. Once all that was done you would then be limited to a little more than half the boost of a normal turbocharged engine because your compression ratio isn't suited for the boost pressure, and without proper electronic boost control, your engine is almost guaranteed to suffer detonation. Or, you could just take the $1000 you would spend on this project, and use it to upgrade to a turbocharged model. In the long run this will give you much less trouble, and much more longevity.
