The stop, start problem is usually caused by problem with the memory switch(1-2-3-M). Being on the outside of the seat I think they are subjected to dirt, rainwater and whatnot. If you pop the memory switch out of the seat trim and unplug it that will fix the stop, start, stop problem, but you will have no seat memory. If you want the memory function you will have to get a new switch. Hope this helps. Coldshot...........
