My goal was to avoid a car lock-out service in an effort to not create any wind leaks in my car. Racine, WI has a understaffed police force, and a serious gang problem, my local police force is unfortunately far to busy protecting to serve.
My girlfriend came home from work, and we were able to jump start the car via the starter. We also towed it home, and once I get it pushed into the garage I'm going to get started pulling the transmission. I can't find a transmission that I can afford to purchase, so I'm going to take mine in to be repaired. Thanks for the advice everybody! If nothing else, you've all helped to ease my stress today.
Tomorrow I'm going to get my old Volvo from my friend's house, and renew the registration so I can drive that until I can get my Saab back on the road.
