I am assuming tha you have a manual transmission. There are three plugs that take a 8-mm allen wrench. The drain plug is on the bottom (obviously) and on the drivers side. The short end of the allen key needs to fit in between the subframe and the plug. The fill plug is on the drivers side top and you will need a 8-mm socket, a couple long extensions and a ratchet wrench to loosen it. Loosen the fill plug first, then drain the transmission. Don't drain the transmission, then find out the fill plug is stuck. The check plug uis accessable through the drivers side wheel well. Since the transmsiion takes 1.8 L, I usually just put in 2 quarts. To fill the transmission you will need a funnel with a long spout. I use a piece of tubing stuck on a funnel and a small piece of tube on the other end to fit into the transmission. Some transmissions have been filled with synth oil - there should be a sticker stating that and the fill plug will also state that. IIRC, those fill plugs take a 25-mm socket wrench to remove... Ron
