I had posted a couple days ago about problems with a 2000 Viggen. I thought it might be a fuel pump issue, but confirmed it was not. Next suspected that it was the DI cassette, replaced it with a new one and did not solve the problems. Now, I am pretty certain it is the crankshaft position sensor. Symptoms such as will not start warm and random loss of power while driving. From what I have read the sensor is supposed to be located on the front right side of the engine, to the right of the turbo heat shield. Is this correct for the Viggen. I cannot seem to find it here. The part on eeuroparts website has a blue clip. I see a blue clip on the right side of the engine, but if I follow the wire it seems to run in a plastic casing (which holds a number of wires) behind the engine. Any help locating this would be great. A picture would be even better. Thanks.
