You are likely experiecing fuel cut from a sticking BPC. Remove the BPC which is located on the frame rail--passenger side--near the top corner of the radiator. It has three hoses going into it. Please mark them for reinstallation.
Take the BPC and spray some lubricant (IE WD40 etc.) into the ports. Give it a bit of a shake then Reinstall. Some recommend using compressed air but I would search the boards for a procedure on that. I'm sure you wouldn't hurt it with compressed air from a can (like for computers) but there have been some issues with blowing it apart with too much PSI from a tool compressor.
The BPC is your Boost Pressure Control solenoid and it is the link between your ECU and the wastegate actuator. They run about $250 so it's worth trying to "unstick" before replacement.
The wastegate could be an issue but its much less likely. If you are going into the red and you don't have a tuned ECU or MBC then you are overboosting. Stock, the car will just enter the red before tapering to the line at the edge of the red.
Also, if your car is labeled an "S" but has a turbo, what country are you in? This could be a LPT and, as I understand it, they don't run BPC so that could bring us back around to the wastegate! :0)
