My 2000 Viggen has ~115K on it; I've had it since 47K. Following along with the advice of the BB I've changed the oil (0-40 or 5-40 Mobil 1)every 5K. Finally I got to the headbolts and crankcase ventilation updates as I was feeling guilty. Ordered all stuff from Eeuroparts. I found absolutely no sludge in the camshaft area, a bit of varnish in the timing chain area. All headbolts were found tight. Following the BB advice, I torqued all to 44 ft/lb and then went an additional 90 degrees following an inside out opposite pattern. The PCV update went pretty smooth, just a bit of a pain under the car and routing the new lines (replace all lines and check valve). Also replaced the spark plugs (had close to 70K on old set), cabin and fuel filter. I replaced the spark plugs on guilt, but they looked fine and were still close to gap (.0375). The cabin filter was filthy,so I'm glad I replace that. Thanks for all the good advice and tips here.
