You probably will have to fight hard since you are over the recommended oil change intervals and a couple of receipts missing.
Saab's reasoning is that if the engine has developed sludge, you have driven the car under severe conditions and that mean the oil should be changed every 5K miles and I think they have a leeway of + 2K miles.
It is many owners that has been denied coverage on issues like a missing receipt or too long between oil changes.
The lady with the 16K engine did not get it covered since she was 10K miles between the first and second oil change from brand new.
It also depends a lot on if you have been taken the car to the dealer for all services and repairs since new. If so, the dealer may fight harder for you than if you just brought it in for the first time with engine problems.
