I would not recommend getting a cheapie torque wrench for the headbolts! It may be cheaper to buy one at Harbor Freight but if it is not accurate you may snap bolts or not torque them enough.
Best case, check around with some friends who may have a good name brand one around or perhaps check with your Indy shop to see if you can do like a one hour rental or such. It only takes 10min max to torque the head.
I also think that AutoZone has them on their rental tool program, but this would be a last choice as Im sure some people most likely use them as breaker bars!
