I have replaced the bushing a few times by now by splitting it with a saw blade.
I fill surrounding area with grease to catch the shavings and use a sawzall blade held with a wisegrip which drags the shavings outwards each stroke.
It takes a bit of elbow grease to cut through and then you need to knock it loose and pull it out.
The new bushing I keep in the freezer for a few hours to make it as small as possible and then hammer it in quickly using a special press tool that fit snug on the bushing.
It has stopped the leak on all I have done.
