hi, i have a 9-3 cab, 2.0 litre non turbo with the climate control (regd. june 1998) I have recently experienced massive water loss, but through no visible exit route..... have striped the heater matrix out and had it pressure tested, which turned out to be fine with now visible 'rust' staining. (thanks to the guys a garick in leicester - foc!!) When the car runs, it does so perfectly, no white smoke, no missfire on start up, hot or cold, no water in the oil, no visable water leaks? This one has me stumped - the only thing i think it may be is that if something is leaking, the expelled liquid may be evaporating on contact with a hot engine component or belt????? any advice would be greatly appreciated. Don't know if this may make a difference but have just previously had an oil service, and a flexi & centre exhaust. When low on water, the temp gauge does not rise above the horizontal - usual position?
thanks
mark.
