1998 Saab 900SE coupe
I had my windshield replaced about 9 years ago. The technician got the passenger side trim on fine, but I heard every clip snap when he did the drivers side. Somehow the thing has stayed on just fine, until last week. The top of the trim piece popped off, and once taking it all the way off, I see that the clips are all broken, including a small piece on the top of the trim. I ordered a replacement ($63).
Can anyone confirm the install instructions for me...I think it goes like this...
1. Partially remove the rubber door seal.
2. Install each clip onto the body (top of L clip toward center of car).
Install clip with post up, then push post down?
3. Slide bottom of trim into lower cowl, rubber seal on top of windshield.
4. Line up top plastic piece into the slot on top of the windshield.
5. Push trim piece straight down, connecting each clip to trim?
