Other things to check:

Vacuum leak - the intermittent nature points more to something like a cracked line or something similar if it is a vacuum leak.

You once posted about cleaning the IAC or AIC valve, but even here you say you cleaned the purge valve - did you check/clean the AIC

Your purge valve may still be bad - cleaning does not necessarily fix it. When my purge went (at about 165K), cleaning it fixed it only temporarily - like a couple of days. Same with the AIC, sometimes cleaning it might help only for a little while, sometimes it solves it (if it was just gummed up), sometimes it HAS to be replaced.
