Need advise of board: cranks, but doesn't start

Just encountered a starting issue, the starter cranks, but the engine doesn't fire. This has happened twice recently:
Last Thursday after going out for a ~2 hour dinner. Engine cranked but didn't start. After trying again in 2-3 minutes it finally started.
Yesterday (Friday). Came home at 5pm changed clothes and tried to leave at 5:15 PM. Same problem, noticed that the fuel pump wasn't running when the key was turned to On. Thought CPS (it's the original) and tried starting again at 8 PM. Still would not turn over.
This morning; checked the fuses, hit the fuel tank with a rubber mallet, unplugged the battery for ~30 seconds but still no movement from the pump. Checked the voltage across the green/black wire under the rear seat once the key was turned to on, but measured no voltage.
I'm thinking the fuel pump relay behind the fuse box, but wanted the opinion of the board. Is there anything I'm overlooking?
TIA

original fuel pump, CPS, and relay. Fuel filter was replaced a 120k.
