I've had two different '95s convertibles and both looked to have the sealing rubber gasket starting to seperate from the glass.
In my opinion, which varies with the amount of your handiness and the value of your car it shouldn't be that difficult to do a waterproof job yourself. You would certainly need an assistant or two depending upon the adhesive. I might recommend a contact cement like that used for formica countertops. It is not forgiving though.

I do believe that there are window replacement kits for the tops. Try Saabsite.com. Might not be for that exact year but as long as the size is right. Also, used ones do pop up. I know there is one in Princeton, MN on Craig's and might have been one in Vermont.

I think it is worth trying as opposed to buying a new one. Might even be able to sew the stitching back in (assuming it is like mine) and it will be like brand new.
